11 class sets of the Rheinhessen painting and puzzles book was handed over by Peter E. Eckes, patron of the Rheinhessen region, last Friday to the 2A of the Brothers Grimm School (BGS) in Ingelheim. Vice-president and art teacher Lars Strömel was thrilled with the free offer that the CEO of Rheinhessen Marketing eV made to the school. "The painting and puzzles book is structured so that it can be edited in class at all grades one to four. In January, the fourth stage deals with the subject of Rhineland-Palatinate and thus also the subject of Rheinhessen, "said Strömel. "The book will therefore be an Advent gift for the children."
The BGS is a priority elementary school and permanently specializes in inclusive education, ie the joint teaching of children with and without special educational needs. A total of six priority primary schools throughout Rheinhessen were contacted to use the coloring and puzzle book free of charge in class, only the Brothers Grimm School had returned. "The children are our future. It is important to me that even the youngest generation get to know their home country a bit better. Because only there, where one knows and feels well, there grows the self-confidence, because you also like to live. "
The painting and enigma book was created especially for the 200th anniversary of the Rheinhessen region, it is understood as a playful form of local history. Among other things, it explains the landscape of the region, its cultural monuments, the customs Carnival and also the culinary specialties.
