Fruit poached in wine
With the many winter spices you can conjure up a wonderful Christmas dessert here.
Ingredients for 8 people
Peel pears, halve if necessary and core. Boil red wine with sugar, spices and jelly, bring to a boil, poach the pears for 20 minutes and let them cool in the brew.
