Feather white cream

Ingredients for 8 people

  • 8 pears
  • 1 bottle of Dornfelder red wine
  • 150 g candy sugar
  • 2 cloves, 5 peppercorns
  • 1 cinnamon stick, 2 vanilla bars
  • 2-3 tablespoons currant jelly

Peel pears, halve if necessary and core. Boil red wine with sugar, spices and jelly, bring to a boil, poach the pears for 20 minutes and let them cool in the brew.
