International Museum Day
fabulous! – Of magical springs and white elephants
Family tours, fairy tales and workshops

A lot of whimsical and fairytale things are entwined around Ingelheim. From 2.30 p.m., fairy tale teller Brigitte Köppen takes the audience of all ages into strange fantasy worlds of emperors and kings' daughters.

Did Charlemagne's »white elephant« bathe in the Rhine or was he perhaps even visiting the Ingelheim Imperial Palace? Are there speaking fountains and a magical spring in the Palatinate region? At 3 p.m., story fans of all ages dive deep into the mythical world of legends in and around Ingelheim on a one-hour walk through the Palatinate region – surprises included.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with free admission. In addition, free workshops are offered from 3 p.m., in which legendary animals from Ingelheim's history can be realized.

Guided tour: Nadja Gläßel-Roučka / Irene Ahl, tour guides, Ingelheim
Duration: 1 hour
Meeting point: Museum at the Imperial Palace
Participants: Families with children aged 6 and over
