New Open Air Format for the 70th Anniversary of the Music School at WBZ
– with Young Jazz Collective Ingelheim

70 Years "Music School at WBZ"! On the occasion of this special anniversary, we invite you to a charming concert series in the Winemaker's Cellar Garden.

Look forward to six consecutive Tuesdays with unforgettable evenings in the idyllic front yard of the Ingelheim Winemaker's Cellar: A charming open-air stage provides the setting for a diverse program, featuring ambitious musicians and young talents from the Music School at WBZ.

With the Young Jazz Collective Ingelheim, the next generation of jazz is on stage. The newly formed youth jazz combo of the Music School at the Continuing Education Center unites talented musicians aged 15 to 20, who together explore the multifaceted world of jazz and bring it to life with fresh sounds.

The varied repertoire ranges from swing and Latin to funk and modern jazz standards – always shaped by the individual imprint of the young talents. Under the direction of Kerstin Haberecht, the ensemble members not only further develop their instrumental skills but also dive deep into the art of improvisation, ensemble playing, and creative expression.
