Geologischer Streifzug durch die Weinberge

Rheinhessen looks back on an exciting geological history. Within a good 3 hours we walk through the last 290 million years in seven league boots. We look at the desert climate in the Rotliegend age, touch the sea sand of the Mainz Basin and finally get stranded again in the now and today with the post-Ice Age floods. To experience the terroir with all your senses, a wine tasting can be added to the hike. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
