Public guided tour: Nature History(s) 2023

on 11.06.2023 at 14:00 o'clock

On the way in the heart of the red wine town

Join us on a walk through the center of Ingelheim and learn how historic districts have been merged into a modern city center. The aim of urban planning was to take equal account of tradition and modernity. With the development of a city center, all demands for a contemporary, urban life should be met. The face of Ingelheim has changed fundamentally since the 1980s. We visit spacious squares and look at the modern facades with which the red wine city presents itself today.
Nature lovers will also get their money's worth. You will find out how much effort plants have to make in order to assert themselves in an urban environment and how some exotic botanicals found their new home in the middle of concrete and stones.

Meeting point: in front of Ingelheim railway station (Römerstraße)
Time: 2.00 p.m.
Duration: 1.5 hours
Cost: 8 € per person, children under 10 are free
