The organiser Ingelheimer Kultur und Marketing GmbH describes the event as follows:

In a chamber music setting, the duo Tommy Baldu (percussion and drums) and Daniel Stelter invite guests. They will meet the South African singer Thabilé, the saz and tenbur player Cemil Qocgiri, the guitarist Lulo Reinhardt and the multiple Klassik Echo prize winner David Orlowsky. Musicians with the most diverse cultural backgrounds meet at the kING to celebrate music together: lived world music!

Tommy Baldu:
Drummer Tommy Baldu, - born 1966 in Karlsruhe, has already worked with Edo Zanki, Laith Al Deen, Emiliana Torrini, Rebekka Bakken, Triband, Sebastian Studnitzky, Andre Heller, Söhne Mannheims, Xavier Naidoo, Music Show VOX TV, Gregor Meyle, Rilke Projekt, Daniel Stelter, Georg Ringsgwandl and many more. More and more he is working on new sounds and music with interesting artists at Baldu!
His concern: produce authentic music | His approach: recognise the artist and let creative space emerge | His sound aesthetic: dusty/rough/innovative

Daniel Stelter:
Daniel Stelter from Ingelheim has made a name for himself both under his own name and as a sideman and studio musician. He works with greats from a wide range of genres: Heavytones, Wolfgang Haffner, Till Brönner, Annett Louisan, Jan Delay, Ringsgwandl and many more. At the end of 2016, he played a European tour with jazz legend Al Jarreau.

David Orlowsky:
David Orlowsky is internationally renowned for his captivating and expressive clarinet playing and is now considered one of the world's leading interpreters of the clarinet repertoire from Mozart to Golijov to Klezmer music. As a Sony exclusive artist, he has released seven CDs to date and has already been awarded the ECHO Klassikpreis twice.

In addition to the musicians mentioned above, you can expect further surprise guests, who will be announced in due course.
