In addition to viticulture, especially the fruit cultivation dominates this region - in the spring to cherry blossom a hard to miss feast for the eyes. Numerous refreshments and traditional festivals have always attracted visitors. More recently, well signposted cycle paths - eg the Selztal cycle path or the fruit route - and hiking trails have been added. An attraction of the German Hiking Association certified round trip "Hiwweltour Bismarckturm". Paths lined with forests, vineyards and pastures offer fabulous panoramic views of Ingelheim, the Rheingau, Laurenziberg with the pilgrimage church and the Binger Loch.
