The solar-heated outdoor pool is located on the outskirts of Gimbsheim, directly on the Mühlenradweg - only a short distance from the Rhine cycle path. There is sufficient parking space for approx. 300 cars in the adjacent car park. The 50-metre sports pool, the non-swimmers' pool with slide, the toddlers' paddling pool, the 3-metre diving tower and the 1-metre diving board provide plenty of fun and sporting activities. Snacks and drinks can be purchased at the Seepferdchen kiosk, with an outdoor terrace for cyclists. The 1.5 ha meadow with shady trees invites you to relax.
In addition, active visitors have the opportunity to use the beach volleyball court and the boules court, the playground, the table tennis table or the table football. The very well-maintained swimming pool is looked after by the "Schwimmverein Freibad Gimbsheim".
Special events are offered in the summer season, such as full moon swimming with a concert, swimming courses and triathlons.
