Potato cream - Quince soup with crunchy blood sausage rolls

This brings the food: full-bodied and nutritious soup, slightly sweet tasting and by the vinegar and the quince with a hint of acidity. Crunchy components of blood sausage rolls, also very rich and abundant.

This is what the wine needs : full and dense structure, but with noticeable acidity, to counteract the opulence of the dish and to give it freshness and suspense. Fruit flavors corresponding with quince; spicy, slightly earthy aromas to accompany the potato soup.

2013 Saulheimer Silvaner limestone

- with aromas of ripe apple, quince and spicy pear, very fruity, dense, powerful and creamy, backed by slightly salty notes of limestone. Gives the combination of wine / soup freshness and spice, invigorates the palate and raises the taste of the dish itself. A perfect example of how wonderful wine goes with soup!
