You walk through the beauty of Rheinhessen. Past rivers, through picturesque landscapes and into the small dirt roads, which are surrounded on the left and right by magnificent vines. And then it is there: This small, inconspicuous and yet somehow fascinating little house. It is white and you may already have heard of it. From "Wingertsheisje" or "weis Heisje". The small round houses were built in the 18th century as shelters and actually one knows such a type only from Italy (Apulia). But the Rheinhessen know for sure: That's one of their trulli. Pretty different and quite nice to see.
