Winery Dr. med. Hinkel

Since the 17th century the Hinkel family has been managing the winery in Framersheim, a small village in Selztal between Alzey and Nierstein. Dr. Roland Hinkel manages this winery and knows how to combine tradition with the modern orientation of winemaking. In the years 1987 to 1989, for example, he turned the company around to a modern, innovative and environmentally friendly way of doing business, in keeping with the motto "Viticulture with wisdom". He became the model for a whole generation of winemakers. Today the wines of Dr. Ing. Hinkel are aaing and an insider tip. Life is too short to drink bad wine. Dr. Hinkel lives this principle. An idealist who has turned his hobby into a career. Wine is his life - and his passion.

Preserve ancient traditions, traditional knowledge and valuable historical vineyards and at the same time bring the courage to renew. In the old-established family winery is with Dr. med. Yield reduction and eco-friendly farming methods produce sparkling, terroir-dominated white wines and elegant red wines, some of which mature in new barriques to sustainable specialties. Rent a vine by Dr. med. Hinkel. The leased vine receives a sign with name engraving. The tenant can enter the vineyard at any time to learn about the development of his vine, help with the harvest or let the culture and wine ambassador Hedda Hinkel through the vineyards.
