Winery Steitz
On 15 hectares, Christian Steitz cultivates mainly classic grape varieties in western Rheinhessen. Riesling and Silvaner are his declared favorites, Pinots round off the portfolio optimally. Every year he wants to get his personal interpretation of landscape, climate and grape variety in the glass. This high standard, coupled with a lot of passion - that is the base for Rheinhessen's top wine.
The soils in Rheinhessische Schweiz offer an exciting potential for great wines. Volcanic origin and more than 250 million years old, they produce mineral wines with unique character and high aging potential.
