The building was bought in 1827 and since 1828, the town hall, school, and citizens' hall have been located in this impressive courtyard complex from the Baroque period. The round-arched door and window arcade with the stone bench, as well as the merchant's sign in the keystone of the door arch, indicate a former grocery store. The building is situated on the grounds of the former royal hall court of Westhofen.
