Yes, the RheinTerrassenWeg is generally well-connected by public transportation. There are 12 train stations along the hiking trail, serviced by regular train schedules. This allows for comfortable day hikes or multi-day hikes, with the convenience of hopping from one station to the next and returning to the starting point by train within minutes.

The RNN group day ticket for up to 5 persons is a flexible and cost-effective ticket option.

The RheinTerrassenWeg is marked according to the state standard in Rhineland-Palatinate and can be easily hiked without additional aids. Each starting point or train station has an information board providing insights into the route and important sights. The RheinTerrassenWeg is a themed trail in Rheinhessen and does not hold certification from the German Hiking Association or the German Hiking Institute.
