If you are looking for well-signposted long-distance cycle routes, the Naheradweg is recommended. It can also be cycled in sections from Bad Kreuznach to Bingen, or Bad Kreuznach to Idar-Oberstein. The only major climb is up to the vineyard domain nearby the village Níederhausen. If you don't feel like cycling back, you can easily take the train at many points. This is also true of the Alsenzradweg, which leads through romantic hilly country via Bad Münster am Stein as about 40 km long-distance cycle route to the northern Palatinate. An insider tip is the cycle path following the small river Appelbach, which you enter via the Bad Kreuznach district of Planig. It takes you through dreamy valleys and wooded landscapes. If the challenge of the hilly landscape is too strenuous for you on the longer route, you can rent an e-bike at the tourist information office or in the bicycle parking garage at the train station.
