The church has a special rarity in the form of its completely preserved Gothic winged altar. The Virgin Mary altar in the choir, dated 1489, is the only one of the original four to have survived. In the painted shrine is a fully sculptured carved Mother of God with Child, behind which painted angels spread a curtain. On the inside, the wings depict the saints Elisabeth and Katharina, whom the donors - the family of Diether V. Landschad von Steinach - commend to the Mother of God. Stylistically, the altar is related to the works of the so-called Wolfkehlmeister. Liebfrauenland - Gothic in Rheinhessen
