Promotion call "Tourism with profile in Rhineland-Palatinate"

The Ministry of Economics Rhineland-Palatinate starts the profiling competition "Culture I Regionality I Tourimus" and thus honors authentic tourist experience offers. The winners - eight municipalities and two cities - will receive as model municipalities a subsidy of up to 150,000 euros for the implementation of their concept. Applications are possible from 1 June to 16 November 2018.

The competition "Culture I Regionality I Tourimus" focuses on cooperation between administration and tourism with local partners from culture, agriculture and forestry, regional producers and producers, building culture or nature. The aim is to create a new tourism product with the core themes of culture and regionality. The goal is tourist profiling, identity development and thus added value.
