The Rhine Cycle Path

The Rhine Cycle Path in Rheinhessen takes you on about 90 km from Worms, from cathedral to cathedral, through idyllic floodplain areas to the state capital Mainz and to the Rhine-Nahe corner in Bingen, the 'Gateway to the Middle Rhine Valley.' Almost flat and mostly paved, it offers a delightful experience for both leisure cyclists and road cyclists. In the north, you'll find the next stages of the Romantic Rhine towards Koblenz and Cologne, and in the south, those of the Palatinate towards Speyer.
