A gate leads to the area of the modern Jewish cemetery. This was at the latest in the 18th century in the former kennel, a only five meters narrow strip next to the Aula regia. Most of the graves probably date from the 19th century, due to the However, due to severe weathering of the tombstones, an exact dating is no longer possible.
After the National Socialist seizure of power, the Jewish cemetery was expropriated in 1935. All 25 tombstones were in the Jewish cemetery in Relocated Ober-Ingelheim. When the entrance to the Aula regia was redesigned in 2002, the tombstones were brought back and, as far as possible, attached placed in their original location.
At the far end of the cemetery there is an information board with detailed explanations about the cemetery. The key to the access gate zum Friedhof can be borrowed from the visitor center and museum at the Kaiserpfalz.

The Kaiserpfalz Archaeological Zone (AZK) is freely accessible at all times, as the individual monuments are located in a residential area (hall area). Some presentation areas can be visited in full every day during the following opening hours:

April-October: Mon-Thu from 10 am to 5 pm, Fri-Sun and on public holidays from 10 am to 6 pm

Most of the presentation areas in the Imperial Palace area are barrier-free. The warm air heating and Jewish cemetery area is expected to be closed until 2024 for safety reasons and due to urgently needed renovation work.

The visitor centre and museum at the Kaiserpfalz, the Saalkirche church and the theme house in the Heidesheimer Tor monument area are closed on Mondays.
The Saalkirche church is open on Sundays from 11.30 am from April to October.
