Old techniques rediscovered - graphic search for traces in the Imperial Palace
Urban sketching workshop

Whether professional or amateur: everyone who would like to draw closer to the most interesting corners of the Nieder-Ingelheim Imperial Palatinate area is welcome to the urban sketching workshop. The focus of the urban sketching method is not only on idyllic sceneries and lovely motifs. Above all, the contrasting juxtaposition of modern life in the historic Imperial Palace backdrop invites you to pull out your drawing pencil or watercolor brush. At several locations in the hall area, participants embark on a creative, concentrated and at the same time relaxed search for traces between the Middle Ages and the present. The artist and museum employee Nadine Hanssen gives valuable tips on technology.

What you should bring with you: sketchbook or drawing paper, pens, fineliners, watercolor paint, weather-appropriate clothing, stool if necessary.
Workshop: Nadine Hanssen, Museum at the Imperial Palace
Duration: 3 hours
Participants: Adults and young people aged 16 and over / beginners and advanced
Meeting point: Museum at the Imperial Palace
Registration by telephone until June 21, 2024 at the museum (06132/714701)
