Wine tasting event - Nierstein Winegrowers' Festival

Every year, the Nierstein tourist office, as the organizer, puts a lot of thought into an interesting wine theme in the run-up to the event. This year's promising motto is “Echt Rhoihessisch”. After last year's theme of “wine exotics”, this year's quality wine tasting will focus on traditional grape varieties that can justifiably be described as “genuinely Rhoihessian”. You can therefore look forward to Riesling, Silvaner and co., typical grape varieties of Nierstein and Rheinhessen, which continue to enjoy great popularity. In keeping with the theme, the tasting will be led by a real Rhoihesse, or to be more precise, a real Niersteiner. With master winemaker Sebastian Strub, we bring professional expertise paired with entertaining originality to the stage. The Duo reLounge with singer Ully Mathias and pianist Alex Mathias will provide the tried and tested musical accompaniment. They present modern entertainment jazz, with styles ranging from pop funk to chilled-out bar jazz.
