Long ear, deep well? Definitely varietal diversity
Again, a very popular vineyard name in the German wine lands: the Hasensprung. There are different interpretations: Either the name comes from the Middle High German word "spring/sprung" and means spring. Or the location refers to the animal hare, which was or is numerous there and stands for fertility. On the quite fertile loess soil grow different grape varieties: great Riesling, great Burgundy and new grape varieties.
