Winery Schultheiß

We are a traditional winery, very family-oriented, firmly rooted in our traditions in Rheinhessen for generations.
I love being a winegrower, living in friendship with nature, being responsible for a farm estate, preserving tradition and daring the new - and all this under the name Schultheiß, derived from "Schultes", the old name for the mayor and for the jurisdiction. For that, I feel my responsibility!
It is a physically moving life, demanding, challenging, but in the end, when the wine makes the lives of the customers a little more worth living, makes them meaningful and happy. What more could you possibly want?
My claim: My wine should be excellent, of good honest design, solidly built, authentically reflect its origin, be original and in the end bring joy. And the name Schultheiß makes it my duty to be honest. That shapes my actions and actions.
