Addition to the majesty vineyard in Alzey-Weinheim

From the rainy and windy weather, the wine majesties did not spoil the anticipation of the planting action. At this year's planting in April at the Trift in Alzey-Weinheim, the Rheinhessische Weinkönigin Sabrina Becker and the wine princesses Laura Henrici, Patricia Palums, Lisa Schauf and Kathrin Weinbach put the young Riesling grapes.

Former Rheinhessian wine majors, representatives of politics and society and many citizens of Weinheim did not miss the chance to participate in the planting campaign as well.

With a glass of Riesling from the winery Marx was launched on the "increase". Spundekäs and pretzels completed the subsequent get-together perfectly.

The Rebveredlung Peter Strubel from Flonheim was again very generous and donated the vines. We also thank the Raiffeisenkasse Erbes-Büdesheim for providing the vineyard pits.

Thanks to the winemakers from Weinheim, who cultivate the vines and the vineyard, thanks to the city of Alzey and the local community of Weinheim, the idea of the majestic vineyard, which should symbolize the connection with the region and the winemakers, was realized in 2008. At the same time, he also stands for the commitment and love of the Rheinhessen wine majors to the region after the term.

Signs with the names and the years of office of the wine majesties, who have so far planted their vines, show hikers, walkers, joggers and Rhinehessen lovers on this particular vineyard.
