Old-established winegrowing and organic cultivation go well together. This is how the organic winery Kronenhof (ECOVIN) in Gau-Algesheim, in the very north of Rheinhessen, emerged 15 years ago from a traditional family business. Andreas Hattemer from Geisenheim relies on flourishing vineyards and living soils to produce wines with strong character in the cellar.
