Our Local Action Group (LAG) Rheinhessen is made up of a total of eleven member municipalities from three different counties (Alzey-Worms, Mainz-Bingen, Bad Kreuznach) and the city of Alzey.

The area is spread over two thirds of the Rheinhessian hill country and reaches in the north and east to the Rhine terrace. In the southwest, the area borders on the Palatinate highlands. In terms of landscape, viticulture is a distinctive agricultural specialty.
