The statue in the center of the village is reminiscent of the former commuter who made the public announcements. As a so-called "community servant", he also had to fulfill municipal police and organizational tasks. The sculpture of the Mainz sculptor Reinhold Petermann was handed over to the municipality by the local Heimatverein.
