The northernmost municipality of the Verbandsgemeinde Wörrstadt is located in a valley slope that descends towards the Selz River. The history of Partenheim includes the Archbishops of Trier, the Cathedral Chapter of Worms, as well as the Barons of Wambold and Wallbrunn. The latter built the impressive Wallbrunn Castle in the 13th century, which was remodeled in the 16th century, renovated in the 18th century, and sold in three parts to citizens of Partenheim in 1830. Since then, it has been in private ownership and is used for residential and agricultural purposes. One of the owners is Schlossgut Deutschmann. Let the past and charm of this building affect you with a Rheinhessen glass of wine at Schlossgut Deutschmann!
