The first mentions of a church in Weinolsheim date back to the 9th century. Massive Roman foundations run through the church's foundation walls, suggesting that a Gallo-Roman sanctuary once stood here.
The fine ribbed vault in the sacristy and the tabernacle niche, with a relief of Christ's head and the date 1408, date from the Gothic period. The gallery houses a 10-stop organ built by the Onimus organ-building family in the 18th century.
A special highlight: the church does not have a bell tower, but a ridge turret in which three bronze bells hang.
