The holiday apartments are on the area of an outbuilding from 1865, which once included a horse stable, pigsty, chicken house and "Brennhaus" (for house slaughtering, cooking laundry, latwer cooking, etc.). In order to preserve the ambience of the Rhine-Hessian farm, we reused the old materials: The oak beams were used to make the steps and window sills of the holiday apartments. The old Eisenberg "heart-shaped tiles" are once again on the roof. In one and a half year's work the new building was clad with the old quarry sandstone. In the core, however, two modern, elegant holiday apartments were created, which also offer allergy sufferers a relaxing stay on our farm. Their names remind us of the old building: Flat 1: "Old horse stable" Flat 2: "Old Distilling House" Nieder-Wiesen is a picturesque village near Alzey in Rheinhessen, with a moated castle and the Wiesbach ford, through which the road still runs. The neighboring villages are still characterized by Rhine-Hessian viticulture. But here in the depression of the Wiesbach stream, the forest of the Donnersberg area already begins, a wonderful Nordic walking and hiking area. So our guests have a varied offer: - Wine tasting in the nearby wineries, - Hiking, Nordic Walking and cycling in our area - Trips to neighbouring cities: Mainz, Worms, Bingen, Bad Kreuznach close shopping facilities in Alzey and Kirchheimbolanden For the daily shopping of the guests there is a shop here on the market place.
