The Protestant church in Uelversheim is a special church, built in 1722 in the Baroque style as an octagonal central building. The original furnishings are still preserved today and convey an authentic impression of times gone by.

In the center of the church building, along the main axis from west to east, you will find the altar, the pulpit, and the organ with its magnificent Rococo facade from 1754, crowned by trumpet-blowing angels. The gallery, which surrounds the room on five sides, was extended in 1836. The 20 balustrade panels of the gallery are painted in the peasant baroque style and are a real highlight. The corner brackets of the gallery supports are exceptionally richly carved and testify to the craftsmanship of the artisans. The pews with curved sides, the sound cover of the pulpit with its airy volute crown. The altar was designed by the Hildesheim sculptor Friedrich Küsthardt.
