We welcome you to a Baroque house, a part of the residence of the Erbachs, excellently restored according to heritage protection guidelines in 2012, dating back to the 17th century, located in the region of the historic Ingelheim "Oberhof."
Großwinternheim, the picturesque district of the city of Ingelheim, boasts the oldest houses in the Selztal that were not destroyed by Napoleon and is surrounded by vineyards.
The region:
If you want to work here: Within 5-10 minutes, you can reach a well-known Ingelheim pharmaceutical company, the train station, the Rhine ferry to Oestrich-Winkel, the highways, or Lerchenberg with its television studios.
Mainz, Bingen, and Wiesbaden can be reached within 15-30 minutes and offer a wide variety of music, art, culture, universities, and schools.
The
"Rheinhessische Schweiz"
begins in the Selztal and features excellent gastronomy, exquisite Rheinhessen wines, well-developed bike paths, and many hiking opportunities.
The city is home to three famous organs, two in the Saalkirche, in the area of the imperial palace of Charlemagne, and one in Großwinternheim.
Famous apart from the imperial palace (circa 800) are the Burgkirche, a fortified church from the 12th century, within the medieval city walls, the Bismarck Tower, and a tiger enclosure on the Waldeck.
By train, car, or boat, you can reach the "UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Valley," with its medieval robber knight castles between Bingen and Koblenz, the castles (Johannisberg, Schwarzenstein, Vollrads, Rheinhardshausen, among others), and the monasteries and churches of the Hessian Rheingau (Eberbach, Eibingen, Marienthal, among others), as well as the Loreley and the Rheinsteig.
A region that is diverse and full of potential, where we wish you much joy!
