The German Cabaret Archive is not only an archive but also a modern museum dedicated to cabaret. It serves as a place for information, encounters, and events for all age groups. Here, visitors can quench their thirst for knowledge, laugh, marvel, discuss, exchange ideas, or simply feel comfortable. A particularly inviting meeting point is the cabaret bar, located in the middle of the archive.

Since 2019, Martina Keiffenheim has been directing the archive. Until 2021, she was also the artistic director of her own cabaret stage "KleineKUNSTBÜHNE" in Saulheim.

Exclusive events take place on the stage of the archive: readings, cabaret and comedy nights, interviews, or chanson performances. In addition, there are guided tours, lectures, and changing exhibitions on cabaret-related topics – sometimes lighthearted, sometimes contemplative, but always informative and entertaining.
