The properties surrounding the Schulberg, which rises from the east and north, are criss-crossed by barrel-vaulted cellars and corridors, some of which are very long and not always tied to the property boundaries. In addition to the cool and safe storage of food, these aisles certainly also had a protective and hiding function. Public entrances are still in the small schoolyard, in the Catholic rectory and in the entrance area of the Catholic church. There are further entrances in the private cellars or courtyards of the adjacent houses.
