The current school building of the Gundersheim elementary school was built in 1843 and included a community hall and the Protestant school with two school halls, as well as a teacher's apartment. In 1922 this was converted into another school hall. Even today, three grades of the Gundersheim elementary school are taught in this building and the fourth grade in the Catholic school building.
