Not to be missed is the Evangelical Church of Dittelsheim-Heßloch, located in Dittelsheim on the main street and closely integrated into the village's architecture. The "Heidenturm" defines the street scene and is recognizable from a distance; it is considered the most beautiful tower of the four Heidenturm churches and dates from the period between 1200 and 1250. The baroque church building was newly constructed in 1730. Of the churchyard surrounding the church, the old gatehouse with the pointed arch made of substantial stones has been preserved, welcoming visitors and, of course, all pilgrims.
