On the first Sunday of every month, the Bodenheim Museum of Local History is open to visitors from 2 to 5 pm. Those interested can find out about Bodenheim's local history, rare finds in and around Bodenheim and the history of winegrowing.

The special exhibition on the Bodenheim painter Eduard v. Heuss and Rolf Balsam offer insights into the artists' work for those interested in art.

What Napoleon's cot and the miniature merry-go-rounds are all about can be learned on an entertaining guided tour by the museum staff. A shoemaker's workshop provides an insight into the craft in earlier times.
