The Historical Time Spaces in the Schrothaus in Ober-Hilbersheim invite you on a fascinating journey through the past.
In the lovingly restored Schrothaus with an adjacent barn, located in the historical village center, village history comes to life in a vivid and illustrative way. The permanent exhibition impressively showcases how people lived, worked, and shaped their daily lives in the past.
Highlights include a historical grain mill, a baking room, a corner shop, exhibitions on viticulture, agriculture, and craftsmanship, as well as a “Gut Stubb” and exciting insights into prehistory and early history. A visit is worthwhile for anyone who wants to discover history and experience the cultural heritage of the region up close.
The museum is open from April until the 2nd Advent weekend, each 2nd Sunday of the month.
Admission is free. Only for the Christmas market, the entrance fee is 2 euros per person.
