This protected biotope is home to valuable plants, particularly the Pasque flower and yellow stars.

The “Pasque flower” refers to the plant Pulsatilla vulgaris (Pasque flower) and has nothing to do with kitchen bells in the sense of tools. The plant is a delicate, undemanding perennial with bell-shaped flowers that blooms in spring and prefers a semi-shaded to sunny location on calcareous, nutrient-poor soil.

The plant genus of yellow stars, also known as gold stars, belongs to the lily family. The approximately 200 species are distributed in Europe, Asia, North Africa, and North America. Centers of species diversity are Central Asia and the Mediterranean.

Visitors are asked not to enter the slope with the sensitive plants and not to damage or uproot the plants. Please respect nature, also in consideration of future visitors.
