Cultural Stage MP 5 – Nierstein, Market Square 5 (MP 5)
In the midst of the historic old town of Nierstein and in a prime central location, the impressive Adelshof at Market Square 5 can be found. The property, built around 1664 by the Knebel family from Katzenelnbogen and Wallbott von Bassenheim, shines in special splendor today after a comprehensive renovation and uniquely combines history with vibrant culture.
In the atmospheric courtyard of the historic building, the Cultural Stage MP 5 is located. There, where work has been done, celebrations have taken place, and social life has been nurtured for centuries, visitors are now offered a diverse and high-quality cultural program.
Under the motto “Pure Enjoyment”, the Cultural Stage
MP 5 hosts events from a wide spectrum of entertainment:
- Rock, Blues, Jazz, Irish Folk, and many other music genres find their stage here and captivate a diverse audience. In addition to talented bands from the region, well-known groups from outside the region also perform. High-quality cover bands provide exceptional concert evenings with thrilling live performances that are in no way inferior to the originals. The program includes both free events with voluntary donations and selected ticketed events.
- With the popular event series “Kids go MP 5”, younger visitors also get their share. For years, children have experienced unforgettable days full of entertainment and shared joy together with parents, grandparents, and friends.
All events take place from May to September as atmospheric open-air events. A limited number of seats are available; reservations are not possible. Of course, there will be provisions for the physical well-being – with regional small dishes as well as a selection of drinks.
