The former office building, built in 1771, dominates the eastern entrance to the outer bailey area. School and town hall from the early 19th century until the 1960s. The former castle area makes the structures of a late medieval moated castle and an important aspect of local rule and settlement history understandable like nowhere else in Selztal.
