The Romanesque church building, transformed in Gothic times, is moodily located outside the village on the former cemetery (honorary grave field). The significant wall painting cycle from around 1420, depicting scenes of the Passion of Christ, was removed and is now housed in the Landesmuseum Mainz. From the late Gothic furnishings, the sacrament house has been preserved, which protrudes from the wall like a small bay window. The sculptures of the church patrons and a Madonna, dated around 1460, were transferred to the neo-Gothic parish church completed in 1912, which shares the same patronage of the two Roman martyrs.
