One of the largest marshalling yards in Germany (until 1974) has been transformed into the Park at the Mäuseturm for the 2008 State Garden Show. The impressive river, the Mäuseturm, and the ruin of Ehrenfels are within reach and create a backdrop for a place of encounter, relaxation, movement, and events. For children, the "Rhein zum Spielen" became a well-known attraction, a skate park, and ball game fields have been created for youth, along with an obstacle course for adults. Opportunities for play and sports are available for all generations.

The control center Human | Nature | Technology brings the history of the region closer. Multimedia installations, exciting exhibits, and models illustrate life at the Binger Loch. Naturally preserved banks, retreat areas for endangered animal and plant species, expansive lawns, fruit trees, vines, and flower beds trace the path from nature to culture.
