The cultural landscape of the Middle Rhine Valley, through which the RheinBurgenWeg runs, is fabulously beautiful.
Diverse and breathtaking, the paths wind over heights and through picturesque side valleys. Ideal for those hungry for adventure and knowledge, for the stressed from work and those longing for a break. The RheinBurgenWeg offers a colorful mix of adventure and contemplation.
Covering a length of approx. 200 km, the RheinBurgenWeg leads through a unique cultural landscape from the Rolandsbogen near Remagen to the Mouse Tower near Bingen. Along the way, one experiences the Rhine Slate Mountains in numerous facets, passes through the Ahr Valley, one of the northernmost wine-growing regions of Germany, and can admire the world's largest cold-water geyser in Andernach. From here, it heads to Koblenz, the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The RheinBurgenWeg accompanies the entire World Heritage valley and guides the hiker, on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany, along the left bank of the Rhine to Bingen.
