On June 2, 2022, the kick-off for the new weekly market in Saulheim took place. Every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the beautifully located marketplace in front of the historic town hall will become a new meeting and shopping point for young and old. The variety at the new weekly market in Saulheim is colorful: In addition to food such as cheese, cold cuts, meat, fruit & vegetables, bread, pastries, delicacies, free-range eggs, and honey, there are also unpackaged food, cosmetics, and cleaning products (only every two weeks). Wool products and handicrafts will also be present. Associations also have the opportunity to present themselves. The fee for this is 1 euro. For physical well-being, Saulheim winemakers will alternate with a few stands offering hot food. It is planned that the range of offerings will be expanded and changed throughout the year.
