The Förderverein Treff am Schildberg e. V. built the tower on their own initiative with the support of the local community. According to the motto of the association “Here paths and people meet”, you'll find the experience hiking trail “Green Classrooms”, the Jacob Pilgrims’ Way, a barbecue area, and a Nordic walking route surrounded by vineyards right nearby. Numerous events throughout the year provide extraordinary encounters.
