Explore the UNESCO World Heritage ‘SchUM Sites Speyer, Worms and Mainz’. The SchUM storytelling app offers exciting journeys through time and space. You will meet Abel and Anton in Worms at the ‘Heiliger Sand’ cemetery, accompany Maayan around the Worms synagogue and Rebecca, David and Simcha in Speyer's Judenhof. In Mainz, you will accompany Leon Schlesinger on his journey through 1000 years of Magenza and also meet the Mainz rabbi Dr Sali Levi and his wife Margarethe, who was in office until 1942. The SchUM storytelling app takes you on a fascinating journey through the Jewish heritage of Worms, Speyer and soon Mainz. The name ‘SchUM’ stands for the and of these three Jewish communities. Narratives interweave centuries and accompany you to the Judenhof in Speyer, the synagogue district of Worms and the old Jewish cemetery ‘Heiliger Sand’.
