The Schneider Asparagus Farm has over 40 years of experience in asparagus cultivation. "In 1970, my father Hennes Schneider planted the first asparagus in Mainz-Marienborn," says Frank Schneider, adding: "In 1991, we founded our family business in Stadecken-Elsheim." The Schneider Asparagus Farm has continuously developed since then, focusing on the cultivation and marketing of asparagus. The asparagus from the Schneider Asparagus Farm grows in the vicinity of Mainz-Marienborn and Stadecken-Elsheim (administrative community of Nieder-Olm) in clay soils. This "heavy" soil gives the asparagus from the Schneider Asparagus Farm its particularly good taste.
