A hint of nostalgia and dust floats through the softly illuminated rooms with the small windows. The local museum was established in 1972 from the tireless collecting passion of Wolfgang Genther from Sprendlingen. In search of accommodation for his extensive collection, he found a Franconian farmhouse from the year 1751 on St. Johanner Straße, which belonged to the winemaker Klaus Reutter. The local community purchased this building and renovated the exterior, while the Genther family took over the interior redesign. The collection, consisting of countless individual pieces, is now housed there.

The museum also offers guided tours for school classes and private groups. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Genther at Tel.: 06701 / 9011 34. (Source: https://www.sprendlingen.info/kultur/museen/)
